I remember someone telling me that you can pretty much figure out if you’re going to be friends with someone within the first 5 minutes of meeting them. But what if there was a faster and more reliable way to figure out if you’re going to get along with someone without the fake pleasantries and best behavior persona that usually goes along with making a good first impression?
According to Japanese TV, a simple look at someone’s hand can give you a glimpse of that person’s personality. It’s called “digital ratio theory,” and we are happy to share this information with you.
It’s really quite simple. There are 3 personalities types: A, B, and C. If your ring finger is longer than your index finger, you have a Type A personality. People of this sort are usually quite charming, easy to get along with, and are generally good people to ask for advice.
Now, if your index finger is longer than your ring finger, you’re Type B. Generally, such people are confident and reliable. Type B personalities work better alone than in a group, but if people do it their way, the results are usually going to be good. According to the show, often people with fingers like these are ambitious and have lofty goals.
If you don’t fall into either of the first 2 Types, that can only mean your index and ring fingers are about equal in length. People with Type C personalities are usually pacifists who try to avoid confrontation. They are very cooperative and can get along with pretty much any type of person. But there’s a dark side – if you upset them, they can become very unreasonable and hold a grudge for a long time. Our advice, stay on their good side.
So there you have it. Do you think there’s some truth to “Digital Ratio Theory?” What’s your personality type?
