Most hotel rooms are pretty comfortable, but this one must not be since Savannah Elle can’t seem to sit still. She even tries taking off her clothes to see if that will do the trick, but it doesn’t. In this case, Savannah’s loss is your gain.
Foxy Asia Magazine caught up with the man behind the lens, Eric, for a better look at his hotel rendezvous with Savannah in this week’s Photographer Interview. Consider this pictorial the next best thing to actually being there.

Can you introduce yourself and tell us how you got into photography?
Hi all, I’m Eric. I was born and raised in San Jose, California (SF Bay Area) and have lived there almost all of my life. Just recently I’ve relocated to Orange County.
I started my interest in photography back in middle school and high school when I would take pictures of my friends using point and shoot film cameras. I didn’t get into digital photography (with a DSLR) until around 2008, when I dated an aspiring model and had an extra motivation to pursue photography more seriously lol.
What was the worst experience you’ve ever had during a photo shoot?
It happened just recently – on the first shoot I did in my first week moving down to the OC. I did a shoot with a model that was very “high” and almost incoherent. Needless to say, we didn’t get any usable pictures.
Where did you draw inspiration for this set and what vibe were you going for?
Since this was my second shoot with Savannah, she felt comfortable with more sexy and risqué poses/positions so we set out with that vibe in mind. This shoot was actually cut short due to time restrictions, I think we only shot for 30 minutes and there were only 50-60 pictures taken total.
What was it about Savannah that made her the perfect model for this set?
Savannah is a relatively newer model to the scene. But that being said, she is very natural with posing and usually requires little direction. I love shooting with her because she’s such a sweet person with an easy going “can-do” attitude. She knows her angles well, and can flow in and out of poses gracefully.
Where did the shoot take place? What made this location the perfect place to set up shop?
The shoot took place at the Wyndham Anaheim Resort. The location has floor to ceiling windows, which I love for natural light shoots. Also, I took the liberty of detaching the two sliding closet mirror doors and positioning them so that Savannah could see herself from different angles during the shoot.
What kind of camera and lighting set up did you use to achieve the look of this set?
What inspires you to keep shooting?
Shooting is my artistic outlet. Seeing other IG models and photographers produce beautiful pictures inspire me to keep shooting and to strive to improve.
Before we let you go, any final words you’d like to say to your fans and followers? Anyone in particular you’d like to send a shout out to?
