In need of a warm-weather getaway?
You can take the girl out of the heat, but you can’t take the heat out of the girl. Luckily, Los Angeles-based Asian model R.D. remains in her sunny SoCal environment where it’s always endless summer. Catching some sun on a particularly steamy day and captured by photographer Dee Thomas, the sun-kissed stunner is a vision in a pair of fishnet leggings and very little else.
When winter settles in, it’s easy to forget about our old friend the sun. So let R.D. remind you of warmer times in this week’s Model Interview. And yeah, did we mention she’s topless? T-O-P-L-E-S-S.

Hey R.D., welcome to Foxy Asia Magazine. How’s everything going?
It’s going well 🙂 thank you for interviewing me for Foxy Asia Magazine. I’m excited!
We were hoping you could start off with telling us a little bit about yourself. What is your ethnicity and where do you live?
Well, both my parents are Chinese, but I was born in the Philippines and raised in Canada since the age of 4. I identify most with North American culture but my siblings and I were raised with traditional Asian roots… aka lots of math practice, piano lessons, and rice hahaha.
What do you do to pay the bills? What is your job?
I do pretty well with the bills until I step into a mall or even worse… ONLINE SHOPPING. By trade, I work with science every day and I love it.
Other than modeling, what else would you say you’re passionate about?
I love creative expression. Mostly, I enjoy designing wardrobe and jewelry. I love playing with different materials and fabrics and then applying them to specific environments. Also, I’ve recently learned more about photography and so far I’m loving it. In short, I am most passionate about anything that allows self-expression whether it be through writing, photography, subject of photography, or design. I enjoy it all.
What bad habit always gets you in trouble?
Hahaha speaking my mind gets me in a fair amount of trouble but mostly, FOOD… I honestly have the hardest time controlling my food intake which later translates into weight gain *sigh*. I can out-eat most guys that take me out on dates. Hmmmm… perhaps that’s why they never called back? Haha.
You’re obviously a very beautiful woman, but how exactly did you get into modeling and when did it happen?
Thank you for the compliment. ‘It’ happened last year, late September 2016. I had been receiving ongoing encouragement to venture into the modeling world. So, I gave it a shot and well here I am. I’ve yet to let it all sink in. My goal for 2017 is to keep producing visually appeasing work and submitting to magazines in 2017. *cheesy wink and double thumbs up*
What about your style do you believe makes you most distinctive?
I’m going to answer this question best with the feedback I’ve received thus far. I feel that the most distinctive trait I embody is being able to bring forth emotion through my photos. Also, I’ve been told that I have an ‘exotic’ look. I don’t quite know what it means or how it appeals to my audience but I like it and take it as a compliment! Lastly, there’s no point in being coy about it but my breasts have received a few compliments hahaha.
Where is the “red line” between erotic and vulgar (cheap) on a photo shoot?
I think it’s different for each model. My personal boundaries are what define my red line between erotic and vulgar. I have taken some provocative photos, but because the photographers I worked with are respectful and talented individuals, they have taken images that portray the artistic form of nude/implied photography. I feel that models need to be aware of who they work with and what style of photography their photographers shoot. I’m just thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing and respectful photographers. Thank you to the photographers I’ve worked with!
What would you say has been your greatest experience as a model?
I think traveling, meeting new people, and growing with independence have been the greatest experiences so far.
What is the wildest behind-the-scenes story you can share with us from on set?
Hahahahaha maybe I can share that with you another time. *smirks*
We are a men’s magazine after all, so we’re going to dive into some dating questions. What qualities do you look for in a man? Describe your perfect guy.
I like smart, funny, caring, reliable, loyal, tall, and hunky hahaha just a few qualities… oh and I can’t be stronger than him… that’s a major turn off. *scrunches nose and shakes head*
Are you single or taken? If taken, how did you meet?
*laughs* @trill_imagery has the answers to those questions.
Would you rather heat things up in a hot club, hot tub, or hot air balloon?
Hot club… hmmm not my style; hot tub… perhaps but not ideal; hot air balloon… it’d be difficult to escape after. What are my other choices? *laughs*
Fill in the blank: To turn me on, a man should run his fingers down my ________.
Stomach and if it’s flat and hollow I suggest he take me somewhere delicious to fill it up with food. Hahaha joking just a simple shoulder rub would suffice.
Well R.D., thank you so much. Before we let you go, can you tell our readers where they can find you if they’d like to learn more?
They can find me on Instagram @R.D.Tio. I will have my website up in the next month which will feature full sets from my photo shoots along with BTS videos/photos.
